Having worked with hundreds of companies over 15+ years in the business world, I have developed a talent for diagnosing issues and providing actionable solutions. Equally comfortable in either the numbers or the interpersonal dynamics, I take a holistic view, addressing not only the measurable financial issues, but also the internal cultural factors that underpin all aspects of business performance.
I began my business/finance career at Blackstone's Alternative Asset Management division as an analyst focusing on strategies and hedge funds trading in commodities. That was followed by several years in corporate restructuring / turnaround and one year as Director of Operations for a digital marketing start-up, managing all operational aspects including budgeting, hiring, process improvement, client and vendor management, and acquisitions.
Most recently, in addition to my work at WDT Consulting, I provide coaching services as a Lead Coach at Law Firm Mentor, middle market M&A advisory at MAST Advisors and even have a award-winning BBQ Sauce on the market (Dirty Jerz BBQ).
In my "first life", I spent 14 years as a professional violinist, performing on many Broadway productions and with numerous orchestras and chamber ensembles in New York City and throughout the Northeast.
My educational background includes an MBA (Finance and Investments) from Baruch College – the Zicklin School of Business, a Masters in Music from Brigham Young University and a Bachelors in Music from Northwestern University with a major in violin performance. I also spent a year in the graduate program at The Juilliard School.
